UTRGV COFFEE DAY
The Coffee Cup was made using Adobe Illustrator, but the parts were animated in Adobe After Effects. I used an airbrush effects to give it some texture.
Boo Dog
Animated in Adobe Flash, I was going for a style from a 80s/90s PSA on VHS. I even tried to include a bit of shadow, like from animation cells from cheap TV shows. If you watch in 240p, it might actually look legit.
UMM IDK
This was animated in Adobe Flash. I was trying to go for a wacky, aloof kind of animation, like some reject 90’s cartoon.
Dale gas
The Chinese text is pretty much a motivational saying literally translated to ‘Put oil in it’, which is an encouraging expression to pump people up. Similar to the Mexican saying ‘¡Dale Gas!’, which literally translates ‘Put gas in it’.
